Ink on Clayboard

Instructor: Carol M. Ross
The process involves distressing an 8×8 clayboard with various tools, applying ink, then using transfer paper or free drawing to leave an image that is then developed using an additive and subtractive method. No experience necessary. All tools and materials provided. A valuable process for the experienced or novice artist to add to their repertoire.
Carol Ross has taught this workshop in Oregon, Washington and Montana with sold out classes.
The student will learn to identify a range of values and create a nuanced black, grey, and white “etching”. An appealing and exciting new process to add to their creative toolbox or begin their art journey and enjoy the community of other creatives and have fun. Each student will go home with their own painting to hang. Testimonials from students are available on request.
