Halloween Night, October 31st!
Last Updated (10/19/24). We are having A Halloween Parade through Georgetown! The event begins at 6:30 PM in front of Bloom Bistro (6601 Carleton Ave S) and ends by 8:00 PM in front of the Trailer Park Mall (5805 Airport Way S).
4:30 PM Trick-or-Treat before the Parade in Historic Georgetown on Carleton Ave S, Flora Ave S and S Ellis St starting at 4:30 PM on Halloween Night. Trick or Treaters are free to visit any home with its lights on. Out of respect for our neighbors who do not wish to be disturbed on Halloween night, please avoid visiting homes with their front lights switched off. Thank you!
6:30 PM Parade Begins, there will be special gathering sites at Bloom Bistro (6601 Carleton Ave S) and the Trailer Park Mall (5805 Airport Way S) with official announcers, music, and more. You may also view the Parade anywhere along the Parade route (see Below). If you watching from a residential street, please show courtesy to our neighbors by remaining on sidewalks.
What to Expect
The parade will feature cool vehicles, marching bands, floats, giant puppets, and candy! There will be a free, all-ages Halloween Concert in the Trailer Park Mall at 8:00 PM featuring the The Viking Surfers and Corey & the Tribe.

- 4:00-9:00 PM Halloween Arts & Crafts @ Side Rail Collective! 5511 1/2 Airport Wy S
- 5:30 PM Gather along the parade route or visit our special gathering sites at Bloom Bistro and the Trailer Park Mall, or along the Parade Route. See our FAQ for details.
- 6:30-7:00 PM Parade begins, first stop Bloom Bistro!
- 8:00 PM Final stop Trailer Park Mall! If you’re staying out, grab dinner or drinks in Georgetown!
- 8:00 PM Halloween Concert @ the Trailer Park Mall! All-ages, free show featuring The Viking Surfers and Corey & the Tribe
- 9:00 PM Halloween After-Party @ Jules Maes! 21+ show featuring Frankenstein TNT & The Heebie Jeebies.
Where to watch
- Bloom Bistro (6601 Carleton Ave S) Just south of Oxbow Park (aka “Hat n’ Boots” Park). There will be food, music, games, and an official Parade announcer. You may also watch from the Park.
- Trailer Park Mall (5805 Airport Way S). There will be food, music, games, and an official Parade announcer. At 8:00 PM there will be a free all-ages Halloween concert featuring The Viking Surfers and Corey & the Tribe.
- Each location will have music, fun, and an official Parade Announcer who will be your local MC for the Parade. They’ll announce each Registered group or float and share other useful info.
- Visitors may also gather anywhere along the parade route. If you are in a residential area, please be sure to admire the parade from the sidewalk and be mindful not to stand on front lawns without permission. Many of them will be meticulously decorated from the Spooky Stroll!
Where to park
All of the commercial parking lots along Airport Way are open. This includes:
- The public parking lot on S Nebraska St (behind the Stables and Jules Maes). Access via Corson Ave S.
- The commercial parking lot on S Doris St. (next to the Tavern, across from Sirenito). Access via Corson Ave S.
- The public driveway/spaces on Doris St. (next to the empty food stand)
- The commercial lots on the south end of Airport Way. Access via 13th Ave S & S Bailey St.
- The commercial lots adjacent to the paint store. Access via 13th Ave S & S Stanley St.
There’s still time to Join the Parade…
March in the Parade. Gather your friends, your club, organization, co-workers, community members, put on costumes and join us. Fill out this form and we’ll contact you to get you registered. If you can’t register in advance, just show up at the Mini Mart at 5:30PM and we’ll work you into the end of the formation.
What’s going on in Georgetown Before or after the Parade?
We’re so glad you asked! There are activities for grown ups, wild adults, people with kids, teenagers, and families including arts & crafts, 21+ and all-ages music shows, costume karaoke, a pinball tournament, tarot readings and more!

Arts & Crafts: Get Creative with Oil Pastels!
- Draw spooky pumpkins and other terrifying creatures using oil pastels on black paper, or start off with white paper and at the very end add a layer of dark black India Ink to bring your creations over to the dark side!
- Side Rail will provide all materials for artistic creation. We are a multidisciplinary arts collective that fosters a vibrant, inclusive community for creative ideas and pursuits. Located on the second floor in Georgetown’s historic Bertoldi Hall, The Collective provides studio, gallery and meeting space to working artists and entrepreneurs in design, and sponsors regular exhibits and events that support the creative community.
