Sponsor a program or activity or GTAAC in general:

We are reaching out to our neighbors for general financial support to help grow and aid the Georgetown Association of Arts and Culture (GTAAC) in our efforts to champion artistic and cultural participation in our historic neighborhood. We do this by advancing creative opportunities, advocating for our creative economy, and strengthening important networks for the residents, businesses, arts professionals, and cultural organizations of Georgetown. We want to grow and we want you to grow with us!

For the past several years GTAAC has supported Georgetown’s creative community through projects such as:

We have also been working behind the scenes to provide funding to local artists and to get Georgetown recognized as one of Seattle’s official Arts and Culture Districts. We have all paperwork and coordination out of the way, and expect a decision by the City of Seattle by mid-2026. Being an official Arts and Cultural District means even more opportunities to spotlight arts and cultural activities in Georgetown! 

GTAAC works closely with our neighborhood partner organizations the Georgetown Business Association (GBA), the Georgetown Community Council (GCC), the Georgetown Gazette, Georgetown Steamplant and Watershed Community Development. Together we formed the Georgetown Coalition to foster our shared mission of promoting all aspects of Georgetown community, business, arts, and culture.

While we’re planning on continuing the projects you already know, we also want to begin new ones, and that takes resources. So aside from helping us continue our mission, what does support mean for you?

Uplift the Community

Your support will help fund exhibitions, workshops, performances, and public art that keep Georgetown lively, unique, and full of character. In short, you’ll help keep Georgetown weird.

Drive Foot Traffic to Georgetown

The events and other projects that GTAAC and our other Georgetown Coalition friends put on help to drive people and business into Georgetown. More people enjoying what Georgetown has to offer doesn’t just mean more eyes on the works of our local artists, it means more patrons at our local businesses, too!

Strengthen Your Local Reputation 

People notice when other people and businesses support their community. Supporting GTAAC positions you as a local patron who invests in creativity, culture, and community connection.

Promote Your Brand

For local businesses, support provides the opportunity for visibility across events, posters, newsletters, and social media channels. You get in front of the exact crowd that values local businesses and actually tells their friends about them.

Swag

Ok, we probably shouldn’t have made you read so far for this one, but we also have some pretty cool swag available for our supporters including window clings, and t-shirts for our most dedicated supporters. 

Although we are extremely appreciative of any support you are able to provide, we have the following suggested support levels:

  • GTAAC Supporter: Minimum $25 one time donation – Gets you a dope-ass sticker!
  • GTAAC Business Supporter: $50 dollar one time donation – Gets your business a GTAAC Supporter window cling.
  • Patron of the Arts: $500/year – During your sponsorship period, you will be listed among GTAAC’s sponsors on our website and your name or logo will be displayed on general GTAAC marketing material (may not include special event material). Oh, you also get a sticker, a window cling, and a sweet t-shirt.
  • Local Legend: $1000/year – During your sponsorship period, you will be listed among GTAAC’s top sponsors on our website and your name or logo will be more prominently displayed on general GTAAC marketing material (may not include special event material). Yes, you get a sticker, window cling, and a t-shirt, too!
  • GTAAC Benefactor: If you are able to give more, let’s talk. We’ll also customize a t-shirt for you!
